The value lies in the trajectory
Chromic’s central purpose is to observe estimated changes over time within a compatible history. The same linked card helps normalise captures; it does not by itself certify absolute accuracy or repeatability.
What the change expresses
ΔeWID expresses a difference from a compatible baseline. It is not a percentage, a score out of ten or an assessment of dental health. Example charts on this site use illustrative data.
What cannot be concluded
A value alone does not establish which product is better or allow unrestricted comparison between patients. Comparisons and clinical claims require evidence and specific validity conditions.
